CrackSearcher (again)

Sunday, February 26, 2006

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your actions when using or downloading CrackSearcher. With that out of the way, my brother called me the other day asking for an application for his iPod. As it turns out, I had to put CrackSearcher up, and as people are still directed here to find the old info on where to find it, I thought I would do a quick update.

Norton AV now finds it and deletes it, even inside zip files. You have to rename the extension if you want to save it (changing the name without the extension won't do it)and then disable NAV and rename it to .exe to use it ... the bastards!

Cracksearcher seems to have stopped working for everybody around the end of May 2007. Setting the computer date back doesn't make it work again, either. Is this an intended sunset timer in the program, or has a server it uses gone off-line?
Has anyone a way to make this useful program work again?

The program no longer responds or finds
anything, even for items we know were listed. At first, I thought it was either my
AV or the Firewall, but disabling them did not make the program work. Something is
wrong with where the program is pointing to or starting to search from.

Hope you can fix it soon.ljefjine
